Dr. Laura Pogue attends BMO Capital Markets' Back to School 2006 Education Conference

New York City, September 18, 2006 – Dr. Laura Pogue, Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Marketing and Financial Resources, Inc., attended the BMO Capital Markets’ 2006 Back to School Education Conference held in New York City, New York.

The 2006 Back to School Education Conference was a very successful event for Dr. Pogue and her firm, as they met with key Chief Executive Officers and senior executives within the education industry to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities within the education industry.

“As a result of the conference, we are better able to address a wide variety of critical online education issues facing our clients, including investor interest in the online education industry, as well as future synergistic opportunities between related segments of the education industry,” according to Dr. Pogue.

The conference included presentations and panel discussions from leading education industry companies. It also provided a forum for management and investors to meet fact-to-face and build relationships. Dr. Pogue states, “The many relationships formed from the individual meetings held with select education company leaders will only strengthen our education industry investment research and identification of growth companies within the industry.” Specifically, Strategic Marketing and Financial Resources, Inc. is evaluating the corporate long-term strategic plans of companies that have entered the online education industry segment of the market.

Dr. Pogue and her firm have assembled a portfolio of education industry specific information and contacts, obtained from these face-to-face meetings with education industry leaders for the benefit of Strategic Marketing and Financial Resources, Inc. clients.

“The bridge between the education industry and technology has already been built,” according to Dr. Pogue. “It’s now time for us to reach out to the investment and business communities for mutual benefit, growth, and prosperity within the growing online education industry”.

Dr. Pogue expects the online segment of the education industry to grow at a rapid pace, along with investor interest. “As long as the online education providers can continue to provide a quality product and grow their customer base, the online education industry will prosper. The recent changes in government regulation have made the online education industry much more attractive to new investment,” she predicts.
