Dr. Laura Pogue Completes Flight to Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas

December 28, 2007 - Dr. Laura A. Pogue, Chief Executive Officer of Complete Consulting, Inc., completed a 2,000 mile cross country flight in the Cessna 310R Multi Engine aircraft. Presently, Dr. Pogue is a Commercial Instrument Pilot, with Single and Multi-Engine ratings from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Dr. Pogue’s flight began in Bellefontaine, Ohio and concluded at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, with a stop in Springdale, Arkansas. Dr. Pogue’s entire flight route appears in the United States map, below.

Dr. Pogue and co-pilot Steven Buchenroth, CFI, CFII, and Part 135 Captain, flew the most direct route from Ohio to their Texas destination, with an emphasis on safety during their flight navigation planning and travels. Tail winds helped to propel the multi-engine Cessna aircraft to a return flight at speeds above 250 knots.

In addition to earning more multi-engine aircraft flight time, Dr. Pogue plans to obtain Jet Standards Training, in the near future. “I love the fact that there is always something new and exciting to learn about airplanes and aviation. Continual learning and improvement are a part of my life which I attempt to convey to my students and clients, both inside and outside of the formal classroom environment. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn.”

Dr. Pogue’s multi-engine airplane belongs to Midwest Corporate Air, owned and operated by Steven Buchenroth at the Bellefontaine Regional Airport.
